✈️ Founder | Director of Operations | CEO | Blake began his aviation journey at the age of 16, flying gliders as part of a youth program called Air Cadets, organized under the Canadian Air Force Reserve. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for aviation, discipline, and leadership. After moving to the United States, Blake turned his passion into purpose—founding Aviators Flight Academy in 2018 with the vision of creating a flight school that combines the rigor of professional pilot training with a genuine focus on each student's success. Over the years, he has mentored hundreds of students, built a world-class facility at Van Nuys Airport, and cultivated a culture of trust, excellence, and personal growth. Blake’s background also includes a successful career in IT and business development, giving him a unique edge in managing the technical, operational, and financial sides of running a high-performance flight school. His commitment to safety, efficiency, and personalized instruction continues to guide the academy's mission every day. When he's not running flight ops or supporting students through checkrides, Blake is exploring ways to innovate in aviation training, business strategy, and emerging technologies.
